Sprout says this every night when getting tucked into bed.
I say it back to him.
He turns to fall asleep with a smile on his face.
I walk out of his room with a smile on my face.
It doesn't matter what kind of day we've had...

That's worth 100 smiles! I couldn't have said it any better.
So cute. My oldest (6 yo) also says "Good night, I love you, see you in the morning"- in a sing-song voice, every single night, no matter what. If I forget any part of this, she will start yelling for me to come back, or come back downstairs and tell me that I forget to tell her some part of our good night routine. It is so sweet and I hope she never grows out of it.
So cute and so true! Bedtime is one of the best times here in our house. No one can go to bed mad or sad and the kids just know how to make that happen.
